How it works

GridWave is a two-dimensional diffuser: a grid of square wells machined to a sequence of calculated depths, so sound striking the panel is scattered both horizontally and vertically instead of reflecting straight back. It breaks up flutter echo and strong early reflections while keeping the room's overall liveliness — the job a diffuser does that an absorber cannot.

Where it suits

The rear wall of a control room or home cinema, the side walls of a live room, and listening or meeting rooms that have been damped until they sound lifeless. Diffusion works alongside absorption rather than replacing it — typically absorbers at the first reflection points, GridWave behind and around the listening position.

Build & finish

Machined from timber and veneered board on a rigid backing, in a natural oak or birch veneer or a painted finish to a specified RAL colour. Panels are around 600 × 600 mm and fixed with a concealed keyhole bracket to walls or ceilings. Manufactured in Dubai; the well layout and depth range are confirmed against the room before anything is cut.

Ordering

GridWave is produced in batches, so the minimum order is five panels. Send the wall dimensions and we will confirm the quantity, the finish and the layout with your quotation.

Common questions about ordering

  • Because the honest answer depends on quantity, size, fabric or veneer, and whether we install it. We manufacture to specification rather than sell off the shelf, so every enquiry is quoted properly — normally within one business day.

  • It is quoted separately, once we know the site, the access and the finish. Many customers fit panel packs themselves; project work — ceilings, isolation, custom structures — is almost always supply and install.

  • It depends on the room's size, use and existing finishes. The Room Estimator calculates a coverage target and a recommended quantity in about a minute, or send us your dimensions and we'll work it out.

  • Often, yes. We manufacture in-house, so fabric and wooden ranges can be produced to a specified size and finish. Ask us with your requirement and we'll confirm feasibility and lead time.
